Job details

Sask DLC requires a temporary, part-time, Head Caretaker within the Corporate Services Division. Hours of work will be 15 hours per week. The position will commence on May 26, 2025, and will be based out of our Kenaston Campus. Reporting to the Supervisor, Facilities, you will work independently 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, to ensure the maintenance and security of the Kenaston Campus.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning duties, such as emptying litterbins, cleaning external steps, paving, ramps, and general external access routes.
  • Clean internal areas as required, including checking toilets and cleaning, vacuuming all floor areas in offices and open spaces, and regularly cleaning windows.
  • Perform simple repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct security checks for the building.
Skills
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and report maintenance issues accurately and promptly.
  • Knowledge of cleaning materials and tools related to the job.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety protocols within a work environment.
