Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.   • Responsible for correct distribution, recapture, maintenance, cleanliness and security of horse head numbers and saddle cloths for each race.
  • Must hold, or must receive, an appropriate license from the Maine Harness Racing Commission.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent and/or six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
  • Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be licensed by the Maine Harness Racing Commission.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
