Job summary

Bloomfield High School is seeking a Head Boys Golf Coach who will lead the golf program and supervise staff and student-athletes. The role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and adherence to NMAA policies while promoting academics and sportsmanship.

The successful candidate will direct training, conditioning and performance, coordinate tryouts, and work with the District Athletic Director on seasonal planning and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid state coach certification required.
• Experience coaching high school athletes preferred.
• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all coaches are certified, licensed and cleared.
• Communicate and enforce team rules and eligibility.
• Plan and conduct tryouts for the program and maintain selection integrity.
• Coordinate off-season training programs with the district athletic director.
• Update athletic rosters, season statistics and awards immediately after the season.
