Rumble - Staten Island is seeking a Head Trainer to lead a high-energy boxing studio. You will wear many hats—trainer, operator, recruiter and backbone of your market—creating a fun, motivated environment where members feel welcome and seen, while upholding the Rumble culture and values.

You’ll drive hiring, training, marketing support, and studio operations, ensuring strong class attendance and high member satisfaction within a busy, active studio setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a fitness certification from a Rumble approved vendor (NASM, ACE, AFAA).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Recommended 2+ years of experience teaching group fitness.
• Recommended have taught 60+ Classes.
• Recommended have taken 30+ Classes.
• Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and holidays as requested by GM.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, high energy Rumble Boxing studio environment.
• Communicate corporate initiatives to trainers.
• Navigate full hiring cycle from vetting to onboarding with Rumble.
• Oversee studio organization, cleanliness, technology and other areas of the studio.
• Assist with marketing, community outreach, and studio inreach (attend 1–2 events per month).
• Build class attendance, retain clientele, and achieve monthly revenue goals.
• Collect, review, and coach trainer staff on monthly programming and music (30, 60, 90 day audits).
• Host monthly workshops with trainer staff on programming and initiatives.
• Attend webinars, Zooms, and corporate meetings.
• Follow up with new, current, and former members (Day 7, 21, 45 cadence; 30–40 contacts/week).
• Support high-risk members and work with GM to re-engage.
• Ensure studio utilization above 60%.
• Encourage trainers to post 1–3 stories/posts per week promoting classes.
• Manage head trainer email and respond timely.
• 10–15 hours of administrative work per week
• Conduct weekly 1–1 with trainers (virtual).
