Job summary

Monticello High School in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a Head Baseball Coach to lead our baseball program. This is a part-time role with a coaching stipend and requires after-school and weekend commitments, travel with student-athletes to matches, and a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and character.

Candidates should know VHSL rules, have coaching experience, be able to organize practices, and work well with students, parents, and the community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of VHSL rules and regulations.
• Ability to develop and train AA student-athletes.
• Coaching experience required; license preferred.
• Willing to work after school and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train AA student-athletes.
• Organize and prepare practice schedules.
• Provide instruction with daily contact to student-athletes.
• Travel with team to matches and events.
• Coaching duties include after-school and weekend hours.
