Job summary

Monticello High School in Charlottesville, VA, seeks a Head Swim & Dive Coach to lead practices, coordinate meets, and support student-athletes under Albemarle County Public Schools.

Candidates should know VHSL rules, have coaching experience, and be able to work after school and on weekends. Preference for Virginia teaching license. This is a part-time coaching stipend position with travel to events as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of VHSL rules and regulations.
• Ability to develop and train AA student-athletes.
• Organize and prepare practice schedules; emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Previous coaching experience is required.
• Preference for Virginia teaching license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead swim and dive practices and develop conditioning programs.
• Coordinate meets, travel with team to away events.
• Ensure safety and compliance with school athletic policies.
• Collaborate with Monticello High School athletics staff and administration.
