Job summary

Global Arts Live seeks a Head Bartender to lead daily bar operations at Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA. You will ensure drink quality, guest engagement, and smooth service during public hours.

Responsibilities include inventory support, menu conception, and event support with the F&B Manager, including upstairs concession bars. 4 years bartending, TIPS, and POS familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of bartending experience required.
• Strong mixology knowledge and beer/wine basics.
• Familiar with POS systems (Square or Toast).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• TIPS certification is required.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mix drinks according to recipes and standards.
• Greet guests hospitably and engage customers.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Process cash and card payments via POS system.
• Support the Food and Beverage Manager.
• Oversee daily bar operations and closing tasks.
• Maintain service standards throughout shifts.
• Collaborate on menus with F&B Manager and Sam Treadway.
• Help maintain and track inventory.
