Global Arts Live in Cambridge, MA seeks an experienced bartender to join our platform performing arts venue in Kendall Square. The role involves preparing drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring smooth service during performances.

This part-time position offers 2–3 shifts per week, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, with a minimum 4-hour shift and holiday scheduling. Compensation is $10 per hour plus shared tips, with duties including ID checks and POS transactions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of bartending experience.
• Experience working as a bartender in a cocktail bar setting.
• TIPS on premises alcohol service certification.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or Toast.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks using house developed recipes.
• Engage with Head Bartender and Food and Beverage Manager to develop new recipes.
• Greet and interact with guests in a hospitable way.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Process cash and credit card payments via POS system.
• Monitor guest alcohol intake and enforce liquor laws.
• Set up, clean and maintain bars before, during and after each shift.
• Support in house events and the concession bar for the theater.
