Job summary

The Betsy – South Beach hotel is seeking an experienced Bartender to coordinate staff at the property's bars and craft drinks that meet guests' expectations, ensuring a memorable luxury experience.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of bartending in a high-volume luxury environment, a high school diploma, and proficiency with POS systems. Certification as a Mixologist and Food Handler training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of bartending in a high-volume luxury environment.
• Certification as Mixologist or similar preferred.
• Knowledge of drink preparation and health standards.
• Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training may be required.
• Ability to use a POS and computer systems.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train bar staff as part of the beverage service.
• Plan and control operations of the hotel's bars.
• Assign duties and work stations to bar staff.
• Ensure quality standards and service; maintain clean, safe bar areas.
• Develop new cocktail recipes and upsell to guests.
• Interact with guests to provide excellent service.
