Job summary

ATI Sports Medicine is seeking an Athletic Trainer in Ypsilanti, MI to provide front-line athletic training services for affiliate athletes within a multi-high school or collegiate setting.

The role includes supervising Outreach Athletic Trainers, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with ATI procedures. A Bachelor’s degree and NATABOC certification are required; 5+ years of experience is preferred, with a Master’s degree as a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Current NATABOC certification and state licensure in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Athletic Trainer in an applicable setting.
• Master’s degree preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Liaises with Athletic Directors, team physicians, and ATI Outreach Athletic Trainers within the affiliate.
• Assist Sports Medicine Managers with quarterly check-ins and coordinating staff schedules.
• Perform administrative duties: NCAA documentation (collegiate level), audits, meetings, insurance processing, etc.
