Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Ypsilanti, MI–Lincoln High School is seeking an Athletic Trainer for a full-time, school-based setting. You will support athletes with prevention, assessment, rehabilitation, and return-to-sport plans, collaborating with athletic directors, physicians, and ATI outreach staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, ensuring NCAA documentation where needed, and mentoring Outreach Athletic Trainers to uphold high care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5 years' experience as an Athletic Trainer in an applicable setting required; 7 years preferred.
• BOC certification and appropriate state licensure current required.

Responsibilities

• Liaises with affiliates' Athletic Director(s) and Team physician(s), and ATI's Outreach Athletic Trainers within a specific affiliate area.
• Assists Sports Medicine Managers with quarterly check-ins.
• Coordinates staff Outreach Athletic Trainer schedules for the affiliate.
• Handles administrative duties for the contract (NCAA documentation for collegiate level, audits, meetings, insurance claims).
• Provides onsite comprehensive and coordinated care for athletes (prevention, rehab, return-to-sport, sideline support).
• Lead and develop team members to meet performance goals.
