Job summary

Go4 is seeking a Head Athletic Trainer for Avon Grove Charter School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position involves providing athletic training services, evaluating and rehabilitating injured athletes, and running the Athletic Training Facility.

Location: West Grove, PA. Schedule: Aug 2026–May 2027, about 25 hours/week. Qualifications include a CAATE‑accredited Master’s, BOC certification, PA licensure, and PA Act 153 clearances.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Program.
• BOC certification required, PA State Licensure, PA Act 153 clearances.
• 2–5 years as an athletic trainer preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall Sports Medicine program for the school, including injury prevention programs, injury evaluations, concussion management, injury treatment and rehabilitation for student-athletes.
• Provide athletic training services for the athletic department, including attendance at scheduled team practices and home and away competitions as necessary.
• Coordinate with the team physician to review pre‑participation physical examinations and medical referrals for student-athletes to determine their ability to practice and compete.
• Manage the Athletic Training Room including medical inventory, budgetary items, and maintaining a clean, professional, and welcoming environment.
• Assist the Athletic Director with determining safety and medical concerns for athletic events, emergency action planning, and enforcing school policies and protocols.
• Evaluate and recommend new techniques, equipment, and policies that would enhance the sports medicine program.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records and documentation using Healthy Roster.

Role: Head Athletic Trainer

Pay: Hourly rate ranges from $45-$55/hr, commensurate with experience

Schedule: August 2026 – May 2027, variable depending upon athletics schedule; approx. 25 hr/week
