Job summary

FuelCell Energy seeks a Director, Fleet Operations to lead the centralized, 24/7 GMCC and Data Center Reliability Operations Center. You will oversee real-time fleet monitoring, incident response, escalation governance, and operator readiness to protect customer load and meet contractual performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in power generation or critical facilities with 5+ years leading managers or multi-shift teams.
• Experience with 24/7 operations, incident response, fleet performance.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional reliability improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of SCADA, CMMS/EAM, and data analytics for operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for GMCC and 24/7 operations.
• Own fleet operating model, escalation paths, and alarm management.
• Ensure safe, reliable remote operation and meet performance requirements.
• Lead major incident reviews and root cause analyses.
• Implement AI tools for monitoring and reporting.
• Define staffing models and training for fleet growth.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reports.
• Coordinate with Field Service, Asset Management, Engineering, IT, and others.
