Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a General Maintenance Associate to support daily shop and field operations. You will operate power tools, assist in equipment repairs, ensure safety, and follow company policies.

The position offers steady hours and opportunities for skill development across mechanical and hydraulic systems. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate industrial equipment, and adhere to safety standards while delivering reliable maintenance support

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive repair or equipment repair experience preferred.
• Experience with Fusion equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate powered industrial tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools for grinding, cutting, and finishing tasks.
• Operate powered industrial equipment following OSHA guidelines.
• Package equipment for transport to customer sites.
• Assist in equipment repair and rebuilding of Fusion equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on Fusion equipment and replace wear parts.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate!

Pay starting at $20 an hour and can vary depending on experience!

Schedule: Monday – Friday / 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Operate power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company safety operating procedures.
• Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts, and accessories.
• Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites.
• Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment.
• Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts.
• Follow proper check in and check out producers for rental equipment and accessories.
• Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance.
• Follow housekeeping policies.
• Follow all company mandated safety policies.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
• Maybe responsible forproviding driver duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Relevant automotive repair, equipment repair highly preferred.
• Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of hydraulic equipment.
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical or mehanical components.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools.
• Experience in operation of powered industrial equipment / trucks / forklifts.
• Ability to work in a shop or field environment.
• Remain results-focused in a fast-paced challenging customer service environment.
• Mustbe at least 18 years old.
• Validstate issuedlicense isrequired.
