Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a General Maintenance Associate in Phoenix, AZ. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with a starting pay of $20 per hour and pay that can vary with experience.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining Fusion equipment, performing repairs on hydraulic, electrical and mechanical subsystems, and ensuring safety standards on all tasks. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate power tools, trucks, and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive repair, equipment repair highly preferred.
• Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic equipment.
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical or mechanical components.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools.
• Experience in operation of powered industrial equipment / trucks / forklifts.
• Ability to work in a shop or field environment.
• Remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid state issued license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools, including grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and SOPs.
• Observe safety precautions for shipping and receiving rental equipment.
• Properly package equipment for transport to customer sites.
• Maintain Fusion equipment with fluid/filter changes and wear-part replacement.
• Troubleshoot fleet for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow all safety regulations and PPE usage.

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate!

Pay starting at $20 an hour and can vary depending on experience!

Schedule: Monday – Friday / 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Operate power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company safety operating procedures.
• Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts, and accessories.
• Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites.
• Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment.
• Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts.
• Follow proper check in and check out producers for rental equipment and accessories.
• Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance.
• Follow housekeeping policies.
• Follow all company mandated safety policies.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
• Maybe responsible forproviding driver duties and responsibilities.
