Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Printed Wiring Board (PWB) layout engineer/drafter in New York. You will complete placement and layout for high-density interconnect (HDI) PWBs, using tools such as Zuken CR-8000 and Siemens Xpedition EDM.

You will work closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing and EMI engineers to drive projects from layout through fabrication artwork generation. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to clearly communicate status to

Qualifications

• Experience as a Printed Wiring Board (PWB) layout engineer/drafter.
• Experience with high-density interconnect (HDI) layouts.
• Ability to interact with Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing and EMI engineers.

Responsibilities

• Layout from placement through fabrication artwork generation.
• Communicate status and maintain visibility on critical program schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure DFM and timing requirements are met.
