Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install fiber and other utilities using trenchless HDD methods. The role requires experience with HDD around utilities in diverse environments, ability to read prints, and the capacity to mentor teammates.

Strong safety discipline and willingness to travel are essential. Operations occur in field settings; the candidate should be capable of coordinating with crews and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities.
• Ability to read prints/schematics and interpret project plans.
• Experience training or mentoring other crew members on HDD tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for underground cable/conduit installations.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Operate construction equipment to align, move, and adjust machinery to meet grade specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide directional drilling data to customers.
• Abide safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor duties.
• Ensure setup and cleanup of the work site, including traffic/pedestrian control.
