Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install underground cable and utilities using trenchless HDD methods.

The role requires experience with HDD around utilities in rural and urban areas, the ability to read prints and schematics, and to mentor other team members. The successful candidate will operate bore equipment, maintain bore profiles, follow safety protocols, perform equipment maintenance, and support setup and cleanup of job sites in varied outdoor

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience reading utility prints and schematics.
• Ability to train and mentor other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate Directional Bore equipment to install underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job prep and projections.
• Operate equipment to align and adjust machinery to grade specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all job aspects including basic labor tasks.
• Ensure setup and cleanup of work site, including traffic control.
