Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install fiber/cable utilities using trenchless HDD methods. You will operate Bore equipment, read prints, and mentor teammates in both rural and urban projects.

The role requires experience with HDD around utilities, ability to train others, and a strong safety record. This is field-based work with travel involved and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read and interpret utility prints and schematics.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduits or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Operates equipment to align, move, and adjust machinery to meet grade alignment specs.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide directional drilling data to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain all equipment, performing routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all job aspects including basic labor duties.
• Set up and clean up the work site, including traffic and pedestrian control.
