Job summary

Drill-Tech in Chester, MD seeks HDD Laborers to support horizontal directional drilling crews on underground utility projects in Chester, MD. This hands-on field position assists with daily operations, equipment setup, material handling, and general construction tasks.

Previous HDD experience is helpful but not required for candidates with a strong construction background. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; health, dental and vision insurance are offered

Qualifications

• Construction or underground utility experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsite.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist HDD crews with daily field operations.
• Support drilling, reaming, pullback and pipe installation.
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with equipment setup and cleanup.
• Maintain clean, organized jobsites and follow safety policies.
• Work closely with foremen and equipment operators.
