Job summary

Northwest Tire in Bemidji, MN is seeking a diesel mechanic/truck technician to join our team. You will diagnose and repair HD trucks and trailers, perform preventive maintenance, and complete DOT inspections.

You’ll work with brakes, suspension, steering, alignments, and general mechanical systems using diagnostic tools and software. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable communication with customers are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel mechanic, truck technician, or heavy equipment mechanic preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HD trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Complete repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, and alignments.
• Use diagnostic tools and document service records.
• Communicate clearly with team members and customers.
• Assist tire and lube techs as needed.
