Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking Mapping Specialists to create and refine high-definition maps for autonomous vehicles. You will digitize road environments from lidar, satellite, and street imagery, adhering to strict specifications to support AV perception, localization, and planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in map creation and maintenance, ideally for autonomous vehicles or GIS.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of lane-level geometry in HD map contexts.
• Experience with point clouds, 3D visualization, or lidar tooling.
• Excellent attention to detail and precise digitization workflows.
• Self-sufficient, organized, and capable of async remote work.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain HD maps for L4 autonomous vehicle operations.
• Digitize road network geometry and semantic attributes from lidar and imagery.
• Apply mapping specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in multiple revision cycles based on internal criteria.
• Triage and root cause map-related issues and improve tooling.
• Collaborate with engineers using Git, Jira, and Google Workspace.
