Job summary

Infosys is hiring for a Package Consultant 2 in Dallas, TX. You will participate in requirements gathering, help design ERP/WebSphere Commerce based solutions, and develop integrations across systems.

The role involves hands-on coding, system configuration, and delivering training to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has deep WebSphere Commerce experience (WCS 8.x/9.x), strong knowledge of microservices, data migration, and service integration, and thrives in an agile environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering and align specifications with ERP capabilities.

• Develop and integrate features, review code, and maintain a stable, compliant codebase.
• Configure interfaces, run ETL processes, and ensure data flow between ERP and other apps.
• Assess ERP performance and ensure security and regulatory standards.
• Document ERP customizations and deliver user training for knowledge transfer.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Required Skill And Experience

• Hands-on experience in WCS 8 and above version
• Experience in end-to-end project implementation of functional projects in WebSphere commerce (HCL Commerce)

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Knowledge and experience with Design, Development, deployment and release processes for WCS.
• Knowledge in working with project development team in coding/review for the WCS customization code.
• Strong understanding of WebSphere commerce application architecture and able to provide the right design decisions.
• Experience in working in onshore/offshore model
• Ability to create blueprint designs landscape for complex e-Commerce ecosystems.
• Experience in pub/sub, data migration, service integration (Apache Kafka, multi-threading, Asynchronous programming (Reactive Spring) and Spring Batch)
• Experience in Integrating, designing and developing custom solutions within WebSphere Commerce.
• Hands-on experience with utilizing various subsystems of WebSphere Commerce Server (Catalog, Order, Member, Payment)
• Experience in working on different Business models of commerce (B2B, B2C).
• End-to-end experience in software development life cycle and familiar with agile methodologies. Knowledge of SAFe will be added advantage.
• Knowledge in Microservices architecture and understanding of OMS Systems will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS) 8.x, Spring boot
• Experience and desire to work in ReactJS, Spring Batch, WCS 9 and older versions, Lucid
• Proficiency in Data migration, pub/sub, Service Integration.
• Ability to work in team in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Analytical skills
• Experience in working in Agile teams

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
