Job summary

Second Chances Comprehensive Services (SCCS) seeks licensed or license-eligible Clinical Assessors to perform comprehensive clinical evaluations for behavioral health clients in Virginia. Qualifications

• Licensed in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMHP) or license-eligible to practice.
• 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience (assessments, intakes, crisis intervention).

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face Comprehensive Needs Assessments per guidelines (DMAS, DBHDS, CARF, SCCS).
• Complete intake documentation including ISPs and Initial Service Authorizations.
• Perform clinical intakes and initial screenings to determine levels of care.
• Formulate diagnostic impressions and preliminary treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with internal treatment teams and external providers as needed.
• Attend required clinical trainings (compensated).
