Job summary

Helix Workforce Solutions is seeking a certified Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber Tender/Operator in Melbourne, FL. The role focuses on safe chamber operation, patient comfort, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring treatments, assisting patients in and out of chambers, and maintaining equipment and logs. A background in EMS, firefighting, or paramedicine is valued, with a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule and hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification preferred.
• Must follow safety procedures and communicate clearly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate HBOT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate hyperbaric chambers per protocols.
• Monitor pressure and oxygen levels during treatments.
• Enter chamber with patient when required by protocol.
• Maintain logs for treatment, equipment, and safety checks.
• Ensure infection-control and sanitation standards are met.
• Respond to emergencies and document interventions.
