Job summary

Knowledge Builders Inc. seeks an IT Specialist focused on QA leadership, testing activities across web apps and context-sensitive help screens.

You will build an automation framework with Selenium WebDriver, ensure cross-browser validation, and emphasize WCAG/ADA accessibility. You will work in an agile team, participate in daily scrums, triage defects, and ensure UAT success while coordinating with business analysts and developers.

Responsible for all testing related activities plus development of context sensitive help screens for these applications and others: DLMS (Distributed List Management System) - a system that allows OMH to hire people for high-turnover positions, without going through the standard civil service procedures. PCS (Patient Characteristics Survey) - a system that all OMH funded local providers must use every 2 years to update information about the patients they serve. NOD and ATA Rewrite project. Plus other projects as needed.

Day-to-day Tasks

Day-to-day tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Lead the design, development and execution of the entire QA process, including documentation of test plans, test cases and test scripts for various web applications. Oversee validation on both desktop and mobile platforms to ensure cross device responsiveness and adherence to UX standards.
• Architect, implement, maintain and continuously enhance a reusable automation framework using C#/Selenium WebDriver and expand automated regression suites across multiple applications and browsers.
• Analyze, translate the business requirements into precise acceptance criteria, develop user acceptance scenarios with appropriate documentation and demonstration of the features.
• Participate in daily Scrum ceremonies and drive stand ups, backlog grooming as and when needed. Triage defects and enhancements and collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Perform accessibility testing based on WCAG and ADA guideline using accessibility tools and assistive technologies such as NVDA, AXE Dev Tool, ANDI, Accessibility Insights, and AxeAuditor. Providing inputs and guidance for refining the guidelines for the OMH-specific checklist across the applications.

IT Specialist–

Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.

84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Requested Qualifications

• 84 months of experience architecting, creating, maintaining, and executing automation/regression suites using Selenium WebDriver with .NET Core 2.0/Java across multiple browsers and applications.
• 84 months experience with ADA/WCAG compliance testing using NVDA, AXE Dev Tool, ANDI, Accessibility Insights, and AxeAuditor.
• 84 months experience in creating and implementing test parallelization, developing test strategy, test plans, and build test suites. Architect automation frameworks that are adaptable, modular, scalable, and reusable across multiple applications and platforms including mobile devices (android and IOS devices).
• 84 months experience with quality assurance, usability testing and analysis, using Jira for managing and maintaining test cases, running tests and tracking the defects.
• 84 months experience creating test documents for user acceptance testing (UAT), participating in UAT, coordinating/tracking/analyzing by working directly with business analysts, technical subject matter experts and end users.
• 72 months experience working on a scrum team, actively participating in ceremonies, and working directly with developers in an agile environment, ensure transparent communication, and alignment across cross functional teams.
• 72 months experience using Team Foundation Server, GitLab and SharePoint.
• 72 months experience working with applications and data that contain Protected Health Information (PHI) covered by HIPAA regulations within a health care environment.
