Job summary

Knowledge Builders Inc. is looking for a Systems Developer–Expert to implement solutions for CNET and REMS refactoring projects and related efforts. You will leverage C#, .NET, and Oracle PL/SQL to design and deliver backend processing systems for business operations.

You will mentor other programmers, work with GitLab/Azure DevOps, and support production issue diagnosis while aligning with security and HIPAA considerations. The role emphasizes SDLC execution and robust data handling.

Qualifications

• 84+ months experience with Visual Studio to design & develop n-tier web apps using C#, ASP.NET/MVC, .NET Core, and secure coding.
• Extensive experience in HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS.
• 84+ months with Oracle 11G+ including PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, functions and performance tuning.
• Experience developing HTML reports and using Crystal Reports with .NET apps.
• Ability to read technical docs and translate requirements into code.
• 48+ months using Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps or GitLab for source control.
• HIPAA PHI data handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Prepare scripts to modify Oracle tables, create indexes, triggers, views; code stored procedures.
• Design, diagnose and troubleshoot rules, calculations and data issues on reports.

• Use GitLab or Azure DevOps for source control and branching.
• Work with ITSM to handle incidents and service requests for the application.
• Diagnose and debug production issues; escalate when needed and join bridge calls.
• Report progress and blockers to supervisor.

Project/Program: CNET and REMS refactoring and restructuring.Job Description CNET and REMS refactoring and restructuring. Systems Developer Expert will be responsible to implement solutions for CNET and REMS refactoring and restructuring project and other projects as needed utilizing tools such as C#,.NET, PL/SQL, and various other programming tools.Day-to-day Tasks Day-to-day tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 or higher and write code using MVC,.NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML.
• Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
• Design, Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
• Use a source code repository, such as Gitlab, Azure DevOps for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
• Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups.
• Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
• Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.

Mandatory Qualifications Systems Developer– Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations. Expert 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Requested Qualifications

• 84 Months Experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio to design & develop n tier web applications using C#, ASP.NET/MVC,.NET Core and modern programming principles; Object-oriented, scalable, maintainable, single responsibility and highest application security standards.
• 84 months Experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
• 84 Months Experience with Oracle 11G or higher: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, functions and cursors, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc. and Oracle SQL query optimization.
• 84 Months Experience developing HTML reports and/or developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
• 84 Months Experience creating and reading formal Technical documentation based on system requirements, interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements.
• 60 Months Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 or later, Azure Devops or GitLab, for development activities and source control.
• 48 Months Experience developing applications that follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
• 36 Months Experience designing & implementing applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
