Job summary

Republic Services seeks a HazMat Retail Driver to operate Class B trucks for LTL waste pickups from retail and industrial sites. You will ensure proper packaging, labeling, and securement of hazardous waste for transport to storage or treatment facilities, while maintaining electronic logs and documentation.

The role emphasizes on-site communication, high-quality customer service, and strict adherence to DOT/Hazmat regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean MVR per Company policy.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training on hire.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B trucks in LTL capacity to pick up customer waste from stores, pharmacies, or industrial sites.
• Sort waste, verify packaging, labeling and markings; secure for transport.
• Maintain electronic logs, manifests, and work orders; follow DOT requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service through on-site communication and follow-up.
