Aggregate Resource Industries (ARI) is seeking a Hazardous Material Driver/Transporter to safely transport explosive materials and related products across the United States. The role requires a Class A CDL with HazMat/Tank endorsement, strict compliance with DOT/ATF regulations, and frequent travel with overnight stays.

The position includes loading/unloading, secure handling of materials up to 55 lbs, route planning, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat/Tank endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Background check through ATF for felonies as appropriate per federal/state rules.
• Pre-employment DOT drug test and physical.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Hazardous Material Transport: drives to move explosive, fuel, and related products safely.
• Material Handling & Organization: lift/carry up to 55 lbs and organize materials.
• Heavy Equipment Transport: operate lowboy tractors and trailers for heavy loads.
• Loading and Unloading: secure loads and maintain inventory; use pallet jack.
• Skid Steer and Reach Lift Operation: operate equipment as needed.
• Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: inspect truck/trailer and report issues.
• Route Planning: plan efficient routes in compliance with DOT hours.
• Coordination and Communication: liaise with field teams for timely transfers.
• Documentation: complete logs, bills of lading, and paperwork.
• On-Site Operational Support: assist field crews with site prep and material handling.
• General Duties: support Explosive Transfer and related teams.
