Allan Myers is seeking a professional driver to operate a fuel truck delivering fuel and oils to our sites and terminals. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, log hours, and follow DOT regulations to ensure safety and accuracy in all deliveries.

The role requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a Class B CDL, 1-2 years of driving experience, and the ability to read maps and follow directions. Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or related work experience.
• Hazmat Endorsement required.
• Tanker Endorsement required.
• 1-2 years of commercial driving experience.
• DOT physical requirements compliant.
• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Experience loading/unloading fuel/oil at terminals.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and report problems to shop.
• Drives fuel truck to predetermined destinations applying knowledge of regulations and local roads.
• Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicates any traffic or site condition problems promptly; obtains location info for job sites and routes.
• Adheres to truck maintenance, cleanliness and repair guidelines as per Truck Driver's Handbook.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.
