Job summary

CHS Inc. in Sterling, CO is seeking a Hazmat Truck Driver to haul fuel and propane to customers. The role may require sleeper cab travel during peak seasons; schedule is Sun-Thursday.

A Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience are preferred. Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-tractor and tanker to deliver hazardous materials safely.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving.
• Load/unload using loading arms and hoses; follow hazardous materials procedures.
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries; coordinate with customers.
• Prepare delivery docs and daily load/unload reports; maintain electronic logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Notify leadership of incidents and execute required reporting procedures.
• Support related tasks such as equipment hookups and site readiness.
