Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking a Hazmat Logistician with Secret clearance to manage hazardous material inventory, compliance, and customer support within DoD environments. You will maintain ELMS data, coordinate disposal, and ensure safety and regulatory standards are met.

The role requires five years of DoD warehousing experience, proficiency with ELMS and NAVSUP tools, and a valid forklift license (up to 10,000 lb).

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ warehousing and inventory management experience within the DoD.
• Minimum one year experience with ELMS, NAVSUP HMM Tool, NAVSUP OneTouch, HMIRS, and DOD SHELF-LIFE Program.
• Must meet requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for official duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control, sustainment, replenishment and issue of hazardous material (HAZMAT) line items.
• Ensure hazardous materials are properly ordered, receipted, and managed in compliance with environmental laws, DoD instructions, and naval regulations.
• Provide customer service support for the HAZMAT program, including fulfilling requests, stowage and compatibility considerations, and documentation to support procurement and disposal of HAZMAT.
• Research and gathers Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in support of the HAZMAT program.
• Maintain and inspect HAZMAT spaces to Navy standards; support LMA/LMI inspections.
• Enter and manage all received HAZMAT in the ELMS to enable inventory control and issuance.
• Oversee disposal of hazardous material and waste per guidelines.
• Maintain forklift license up to 10,000 lb capacity.
• Complete HAZMAT training through ECATTS.
