Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled HAZMAT Chemical and Gas Professional to manage safe storage, transportation, and compliance for hazardous materials on site. You will apply DOT HAZMAT and FTZ regulations and coordinate with procurement, logistics, and EH&S to ensure reliable material flow.

The role requires strong vendor management, KPI development, and data analysis using SAP/ERP and Excel, with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hazardous materials management experience in manufacturing/semiconductor.
• DOT, IATA, IMDG Hazmat shipping certification a plus.
• Military service or related education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply supply chain KPIs and inventory optimization to monitor metrics.
• Support raw material and hazardous materials management per DOT, EH&S, and SOPs.
• Oversee daily logistics operations and SOP compliance.
• Use SAP/ERP for planning, tracking, discrepancies, root-cause analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate specialized raw material shipments and maintain target inventory levels.
