Job summary

ADVANTAGE MEDIA SERVICES LLC is seeking a Logistics and Hazmat Compliance Supervisor to oversee shipping operations, ensure hazmat regulatory compliance, and train staff across AMS locations. You will identify risks, manage audits, and coordinate with clients and carriers to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role requires keeping up-to-date hazmat regulations, maintaining certifications, and leading corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Hazmat knowledge with IATA, 49 CFR, and IMDG certifications required.
• Experience with cost analysis and transportation networks.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with project management and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation operations and hazmat compliance across AMS locations.
• Audit HTS data accuracy and AES filings.
• Lead regulatory training and SOP development for hazmat handling.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to resolve hazmat issues.
• Act as primary contact for DOT/FAA inspections and incident response.
• Prepare client and carrier reporting and lead business reviews.
