Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Hazmat Project Manager to oversee environmental emergency response operations and branch personnel in the Fort Collins, CO area. The role directs hazardous materials incident response, regulatory compliance, and workforce management in a 24/7 on-call setting.

The position requires supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and English proficiency. Travel throughout the Fort Collins metro and surrounding region is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory or management experience in field operations.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; pass MVR and screenings.
• Able to work 40+ hours/week with 24/7 on-call availability.
• Must read/speak/understand English; willingness to travel regionally.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in environmental services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct hazmat emergency response operations including spill containment and incident recovery.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage branch personnel; ensure safety certifications.
• Oversee confined space entry and industrial tank cleaning projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety program goals.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and travel to sites across the region.
