Job summary

Logmet in Quantico, Virginia seeks a Hazmat (HM) / Hazardous Waste (HW) Coordinator to ensure safe storage, handling, and distribution of hazardous materials in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will manage documentation, inventory, training, and audits to promote a safe workplace.

The role requires four years of related experience, completion of Hazmat courses, and strong organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and safety in all logistics operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of goods received and delivered; update TC MAX/HMIRS/HMMS databases.
• Complete paperwork for receiving and shipping daily.
• Load/unload products after receiving and for delivery.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and safe product deliveries.
• Keep MSDS sheets current and ensure updates are tracked.
• Pull inventory and manage warehouse/yard organization.
• Communicate with customers about delivery placements.
• Comply with all safety requirements and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Assist other personnel as time allows; support other duties as assigned.
• Stay current with federal procurement regulations and GSA guidelines.
