Candidates should hold a CDL with HazMat, have a clean driving record, and be prepared for routine loading/unloading, inspections, and emergency response as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with HazMat endorsement required.
• Experience in fuel delivery or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT hazmat transportation regulations.
• Completion of safety and hazardous materials training programs.
• First aid and CPR certification may be beneficial.
• Strong driving record and safe driving history.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Fuel Delivery Operations: Operate and plan routes for efficient delivery of fuels to customers.
• Loading and Unloading: Load/unload fuel safely; ensure correct type and quantity.
• Safety Compliance: Follow federal, state and local hazmat regulations; perform pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Record Keeping: Maintain delivery records, signatures, and regulatory documents.
• Customer Service: Communicate with customers and address questions or concerns.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and report issues.
• Emergency Response: Respond to spills or accidents per protocol and training.
