Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in Eagan, MN is seeking a Field Service Project Manager to lead large-scale environmental projects at customer locations within the HAZMAT Emergency Response team.

You will coordinate with field crews, supervisors, and the Branch Manager to ensure safe, on-time project delivery. This role requires attending a weeklong Academy training out of state (paid) and offers a comprehensive benefits package, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, training and tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• 3+ years of environmental field service operations or related.
• Strong environmental remediation background.
• Emergency response supervisor training and/or Marine Spill Response training preferred.
• Strong understanding of equipment operations.
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulation.
• Cost estimating and computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Manages and oversees small to large, technically complex projects involving waste site clean-up and construction, building and equipment decontamination and demolition.
• Prepare proposals, including cost estimates and work scopes and schedules.
• Acts as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding the customer issues.
• Ability to provide timely, concise and relevant information to superiors and subordinates.
• Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement.
• Enforce the policies and procedures as it relates to Health & Safety.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
