Maine Oxy in South Windsor, Connecticut, is hiring a Class B Driver for local routes with home every night and weekends. The role offers $30/hour, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, full-time employment, and potential overtime.

You will maintain safety, accuracy in paperwork, and strong customer relations. The ideal candidate has a Class B CDL with HazMat and airbrakes, is at least 21, and meets DOT standards while operating cylinders and warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes.
• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years.
• A clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Able to meet DOT physical qualification standards.
• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and comfortable with basic computer order entry.
• Experience handling compressed gases is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsabilités

• Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues
• Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts
• Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional

$30/hour hourly pay, plus jump in with a $2500 sign on bonus! Full time, local routes, home every night and weekends, steady work, and overtime typically available!
