Clean Harbors in Albany (Schenectady) NY is seeking a Class B CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate light and heavy‑duty trucks at customer sites and non‑driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup. This role includes travel, on‑call responsibilities, and emergency response capabilities, with paid two‑week training out of state and travel/per diem provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Ability to use various mobile devices on the job.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Pass a drug test and a medical/physical examination as required.
• Adhere to respirator standards per OSHA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a team environment.
• Drive a variety of Class B trucks and load/unload as needed.
• Maintain customer satisfaction at the time of service.
• Properly placard vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Support site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
