Job summary

Maine Oxy-Acetylene Supply Company is hiring for a regional over-the-road driver role delivering helium cylinders to established customers. The position offers an hourly wage with overtime and a strong overtime opportunity from January through June.

In addition to a $3,000+ sign-on bonus, you will receive 401(k) with match, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a boot and pants program. Expect nights in hotels and weekends at home when possible, with multiple zones and predictable schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, read highway signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with regular customers and manage inventory needs.
• Maintain daily vehicle safety inspections and comply with DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver helium compressed gas cylinders to scheduled, repeat customers.
• Load and unload cylinders and return empties to the fill plant.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and complete delivery paperwork.
