Job summary

MAINE OXY-ACETYLENE SUPPLY COMPANY seeks a driver to deliver helium cylinders across a regional route. Expect overnight travel with most weekends at home and a Monday departure. You will load, unload, and service cylinders while maintaining DOT compliance and strong customer relationships.

The role requires a Class A CDL with Hazmat, at least one year of driving or recent training, and solid English communication. Expect a stable, full-time schedule with benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement required.
• 1 year driving experience or driving school training within the past 4 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, read highway signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver helium compressed gas cylinders to scheduled, repeat customers.
• Load and unload cylinders and return empties to the fill plant.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain DOT compliance.
• Build relationships with regular customers and help manage their inventory needs.
