Hepaco, a Clean Harbors Company in Richmond, VA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum and roll-off trucks. The role includes driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup, with paid two-week training out-of-state.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
• Ability to use various mobile devices
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical as required by position
• Facial hair standards per OSHA respirator requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks
• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs
• Proper placarding of vehicles to meet DOT requirements/regulations
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets
• Follow local, state and federal compliance regulations
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and other requirements
• Observe company safety guidelines
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis
• Site remediation and hazardous materials handling
