Clean Harbors in Richmond, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll offs, performing driving and non-driving duties in hazardous waste clean-up.

The role includes new-hire academy training out of state (paid) and company-paid training with tuition reimbursement. Competitive pay, health benefits after 30 days, 401K match, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA respirator requirements.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following safe practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a team atmosphere.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Perform site labor to fulfill customer needs.
• Properly placard vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Support site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.
