Job summary

Linde plc. is seeking a CDL driver responsible for delivering products to customers with 10–12 stops daily, ensuring accurate counts, and handling documentation.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and coordinate hazmat paperwork under DOT regulations. The role requires a valid CDL (A or B) with hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain within 60 days, a minimum of 21 years of age, and a commitment to safety and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, with a valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and delivering excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Prepare hazmat shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to support growth.
