Qualifications

CDL with hazardous materials endorsement valid in the candidate's state.
2+ years of commercial driving experience under FMCSA/DOT.
MVR status must be acceptable.
Experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Transports inventory, including hazardous materials, between distribution centers and cross-dock locations.
Ensures that order manifests are complete and trailers are loaded with the correct merchandise.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and internal policies.
Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages before and after route.
Maintains vehicle logs and bill of ladings in accordance with guidelines.
Follows planned routes for timely deliveries while upholding safety and courtesy to customers.
Moves line haul trailers around the shipping yard and loading docks for efficient inventory movement.
Makes local deliveries as needed.
