Job summary

TerraCycle is seeking a full-time Driver for its Aurora, IL facility to support daily pickups and material staging. This role requires operating straight trucks with a CDL Class C and Hazmat endorsement, with routes scheduled Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining DOT compliance, and professional customer interactions, aiming to uphold TerraCycle's high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• CDL Class C is required with Hazmat endorsement.
• 1-2 years of straight truck experience preferred.
• Ability to perform daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks with materials and handling equipment daily.
• Safely operate company vehicles to and from sites.
• Interact professionally with customers and upsell where appropriate.
• Complete shipping documentation including bills of lading.
• Safely unload trucks and receive materials in the warehouse.
• Maintain DOT and EPA inspection readiness and PPE compliance.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Comply with DOT drug testing requirements.
• Follow DOT regulations for vehicle operation and safety.
• Flex into Waste-In or Fulfillment functions as needed.
