Job summary

Clean Harbors in Bristol, CT seeks an HazmatDriver- Environmental Field Chemist to handle, pack, and inspect chemical waste per regulations. You will work at plants, labs, and customer sites, and assist with lab packs and HHW collections. This is a customer-facing, non-lab-based role with indoor/outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test and physical.
• Willingness to work at customer sites, indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow all safety practices.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifests, and disposal notifications.
• Inspect staging areas, storage drums, and labeling for compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal and coordinate with customer sites.
