Job summary

Hepaco, a Clean Harbors Company in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll offs. The role involves driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites for hazardous waste clean-up.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical as required by position.
• Passport to respirator use under OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety as the top priority and work safely.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Drive various Class A trucks and perform loading/unloading.
• Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
• Placard vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain logs, time sheets and reports.
• Follow local/state/federal regulations and company procedures.
• Operate vehicles per DOT and safety regulations.
• Follow environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.
