Job summary

Clean Harbors in Mason, MI is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. This role involves driving and on-site non-driving duties tied to hazardous waste clean-up.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Candidates must be able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to operate and use mobile devices for job tasks.
• Must be able to perform physical labor and drive in varying conditions.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and medical examination as required by position.
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard and related safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cusco, guzzler, and roll-off units.
• Load and unload cargo and perform on-site manual tasks.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets; complete required reports.
• Place vehicles in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and site procedures and guidelines.
• Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Support site remediation and hazardous materials handling as required.
